I’ve been cooking up this one for a while. A friend in my office switched jobs and it just seemed like the right message for a new start!
When I showed another friend, she said, “Oh! You cheat and write it all out first!” And I said YES! Nothing is ever as hard as it looks! Also, if it weren’t easy, I wouldn’t do it.
This did take a little longer than anticipated but I love the look of bold satin stitch text.
Isn’t baby stuff the best? This baby cocoon is just way presh to me and took about 2 hours from start to finish. I’m in love! It was the perfect addition to a baby shower gift.
Don’t forget- I’m teaching a crochet class at the library on Sunday so give me a shout if you’d like to attend!
I worked up this tote last summer and felt like it was a perfect produce bag for Farmer’s Market! I forgot that yarn is, well… stretchy, so it had a lot of sag. A cotton yarn would probably keep shape a bit better, but I tie a knot in the strap to shorten it up and that works fine too!
I’ll be teaching a Crochet Basics class at the Library on April 25 (next weekend!). If you’d like to learn how to start crocheting- I’d love to teach you!
Gird your ovaries ladies.. Baby hats follow.
